Valentine’s Day is celebrated here in Lakeside as enthusiastically as it is up North. There are parties everywhere, some private, some community and some in restaurants. I went with a group of Canadian friends to La Bodega, a popular restaurant which has a different musical group playing almost every night of the week. On Saturday night the Valentine’s group was entertained by Noe, whose music is very danceable and he’s nice to watch too.
